Students will be learning about the dangers of alcohol on the body and how it affects the family.
Class focus:
* How alcohol can physically and emotionally effect the user.
* Drinking and driving laws and blood alcohol levels in the body.
* Drunk Buster Goggles: Students will experience how alcohol can slow reaction time by using goggles that were designed to impair vision.
* Alcoholism in the family and how it effects not only the alcoholic but the entire family.
* Alcohol warning labels: Students will be working with a partner to design an alcohol warning label.
* Resources that students can access for information or support.
